Umpires are one of the most requested "players" in a ball game. We often have parents ask us where the umpires are, why we don't have enough, and to assign an umpire to their childs game. Some Umpires aren't free and we are a small league who has to rely on our volunteer umpires to fill the gaps between our paid umpires.
We provide the training and equipment for our volunteer umpire crew so you'll not only know what to do but you'll have the gear needed to get it done!

Umpire - One of the most important volunteer positions in Del Valle Little League is being an umpire, or part of our Blue Crew. We’d like to keep our registrations fees far below neighboring leagues and having a strong volunteer umpire crew will help us be able to do that. Umpires are trained and outfitted by Del Valle Little League. We are happy to schedule assignments around whatever schedule you may have, and it doesn’t matter if you are able to umpire 3 games or 50!
